UTE TRAIL RIVER RANCH

Home  Cabins  And, There's More...  Fishing, Hiking, Etc.  Reservations, Etc.

The tranquil mountain valley setting and hand-hewn log cabins and lodge at Ute Trail River Ranch capture the rustic spirit of a time when life was simpler and moved more slowly. . . .

The cabins at Ute Trail River Ranch are furnished with all the essential amenities for a very comfortable stay. This includes kitchen facilities complete with dinnerware & cookware, S&P, coffee service and designer bed & bath linens.

Each cabin is distinctively decorated with its own slice of Tarryall history and each is filled with antiques and handcrafted furnishings that complement the mountain lodge decor. Intimate, private stone porches or wood decks enhance each cabin.

The cabins, all smoke-free, sleep from 2 to 6 guests. We offer two, premier, multi-seasonal cabins that have private bathrooms with showers. These two cabins, the Bear Dance and the Tabeguache, both offer separate bedrooms from the living/dining areas. Tabeguache is open from April - New Year's Holiday; Bear Dance is open year-round.

The seasonal, single room cabins at Ute Trail River Ranch are a little smaller, a tad more rustic, but every bit as charming as the two larger cabins. These seasonal cabins have fully furnished kitchenettes with fridges, stoves and running water (both hot & cold!). What they do not have is their own bathroom in the cabin. Each of these cabins is just a short distance from the "wash house" cabin which features two full baths ~ one for gals & one for guys ~ with showers only, no tubs. These facilities are shared by guests of the smaller, seasonal cabins.

In keeping with the Ranch's natural surroundings, no televisions, no telephones, and no internet connections are available in the cabins to interrupt the quiet beauty enjoyed at Ute Trail River Ranch. Accordingly, a guest telephone is available in the main lodge only. Guest messages are promptly delivered to cabin guests in the event someone should need to get in touch with you during your stay with us.

PLEASE NOTE:
~~ Cell phones typically do not work at our location. You may leave the lodge phone number ~ 719 . 748 . 3015 ~ with family members in case of emergencies. ~~

~~ During our PEAK SEASON (Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend) in the 2 premier cabins (Bear Dance & Tabeguache) we request a 3-Night Minimum Stay.
With the seasonal, rustic cabins we have a 2-Night Minimum Stay requirement at all times and a 3-Night Minimum Stay during all major holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day) and for groups reserving 3 or more cabins. ~~

~~ If you plan to travel with a pet, you must ask first if we can accommodate your pet. If and when we do accept pets, it is on a very limited basis. ~~
